1999年の新宿リキッドルームでのMad Professor来日公演のフロントアクトとして行ったLive Sessionを期に活動が始まる。 1999 年、内田直之(Dry&Heavy)と共に録音されたSessionをEYE(Boredoms),Toshio Kajiwara & DJ Olive , Paradox(Reinforced),J.A.K.A.M.の4組のArtistがそれぞれリミックスを手掛ける作品集"Sleeper" として2001年12月にCommaからリリースとなる。 2000年から2001年にかけてLive Session に参加したメンバーを中心に4月、9月と2回に渡るレコーディングを経て、1stアルバム"Pearl,Snake,Bird,Dawn"を数日で完成させ, 2002年2月Commaからリリース。 ２００３年３月にアルバム"Pearl,Snake,Bird,Dawn"の曲を井上薫,DJ Kensei&Taiyo,Saidrum,L?K?O,EBZ,Kuniyuki,Tomoki, Monkaなど多数のクリエイターによってリミックスされた作品をCommaからリリース。その中のKuniyuki RemixとOriginalの"Sleepers"がJoe Claussell(Spiritual Life,Body&Soul)の新レーベルNatural Resourceからリリースされ、 ヨ−ロッパではKirk DegiorgioとIan Obrienの新レーベルからのコンピレーションに１曲目に収録されるなど 確実にその音楽が世界中に広まる。 2004年９月Rudimentsより過去のライヴ録音をまとめた作品 [Live Apocalypse 0]をリリース

"NXS" began with a session @ Liquid Room Shinjuku in 1999, which Iincluded a performanced by Mad Professor. Combining cross-over, clash, fusion, sound effects, with a vibe that flows between freestyle and programming, generating a one-of-a-kind sound. In December 2001 NXS released the album 'sleepers', recorded with Naoyuki Uchida (Dry & Heavy). Remixed tracks for EYE (Boredoms), Toshio Kajiwara/DJ OLIVE, and Paradox (Reiforced), also self-produced remix as J.A.K.A.M. (Juzu also known as Moochy). They accomplished the first album 'Pearl,Sneak,Bird,Dawn' that has recorded with the members who joined in 2000&2001. A remixed album of 'Pearl,Sneak,Bird,Dawn' was released in 2003 including Kaoru Inoue, Kensei&Taiyo, Kuniyuki, Saidrum, LKO, EBZ, Tomoki, Lamont Colyar&dol-lop etc. In 2004 NXS released 'Live Apocalypse 0'.that include live takes from many places in Japan.
