DO SHOCK BOOZE is the alias project of DJ/music producer Yoichi Hayashi. Since the late 90's, he has continued to express himself as the frontman of a rock band, and has expanded his activities as a composer and DJ & live act. Since around 2010, he has been releasing music on his own home label, TOTEM TRAXX, as well as on other labels in Japan and abroad, including the long-established German label Traum and Dense & Pika's (UK) Kneaded Pains, and his music is consistently ranked in the Beatport charts. He has performed at Japan's largest outdoor music festival "FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL", as well as "EN-Festival", "Re:birth", "Brightness", and many other outdoor events, and has provided reviews and remixes for Mixmag and other music media. Since 2018, he has been working with DJ Tarzan on the label party series "MEiYOU", and with DJ Miku and the rest of the organizing team on one of Japan's leading outdoor festivals, "Global Ark". In 2023, he will establish ＜Global Ark Recordings＞, which can be said to be a family label of ＜TOTEM TRAXX＞, and continues to search for a variety of quality works that resonate not only with his own music, but also with a wide range of other artists. In the world of Doshokubutsu, soundscapes oriented toward the ideal coexistence of organic and psychedelic music are expressed in every direction.


DJ／音楽プロデューサー、Yoichi Hayashiの変名プロジェクト『DO SHOCK BOOZE -ドウショクブツ-』。 90年代後半からロックバンドのフロントマンとして表現を続け、コンポーザーやDJ&LIVE ACTとしても活動の幅を広げてきた。2010年頃からは自身のホームレーベルである＜TOTEM TRAXX＞からのリリースを基盤に、ドイツの老舗レーベル＜Traum＞やDense & Pika (UK) 主宰の＜Kneaded Pains＞等、国内外のレーベルから作品を発表、世界有数のエレクトロニック・ミュージック・ストア「Beatport」のチャートにはコンスタントにランクイン。日本最大級の野外音楽フェスティバル「FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL」をはじめ、「EN-Festival」、「Re:birth」、「Brightness」など数々の野外イベントへの出演、Mixmagなどの音楽メディアからのインタビュー、レーベルポッドキャスト「TOTEMIX」の運営、 リミックスの提供、ファッションショーの音楽制作なジャンルレスな活動でも評価を高める。2018年からは、DJ TARZANと共にレーベルパーティーシリーズ「MEiYOU」のほか、DJ MIKUをはじめとするオーガナイズチームと国内有数の野外フェスティバル「Global Ark」を主宰、2023年には＜TOTEM TRAXX＞のファミリーレーベルとも言える＜Global Ark Recordings＞を設立し、自身の楽曲のみに留まらず、共鳴するバラエティに富んだ良質な作品の探求を続けている。ドウショクブツの世界では、 オーガニックとサイケデリックの理想的な共存を指向したサウンドスケープが縦横無尽に表現される。
